  • No! While work very hard to ensure the items we stock are free of stains, holes, rips, tears and have no missing buttons, zippers, etc., we also have as many thrifters who look for those items in particular, as they have an interest in the material rather than the item itself. Or, they may want to upcycle, repair, or just don’t mind an occasional, small stain.

Our main goal is to keep the shelves stocked with as many options as possible to give our customers lots and lots of choices!

  • Our pricing is based on a combination of what the item sold for at retail, we then reduce that price because it is gently used, we then factor in demand, brand, and popularity, and quality of the item. Finally, we offer the item at the best possible price, but enough that it helps us pays the bills, keep the lights on, and pay our amazing staff a fair wage.

NOTE: We are not a bargain basement thrift store. Our prices match or beat that of our competition. And, we do have flash sales, and reduce prices the longer the inventory stays on the shelf to ensure that fresh inventory is moving through our stores on a regular basis.

  • At all DG Thrift Stores, ALL sales are final, with no exchanges or returns.

We are just getting started and at some point in the future we may implement an exchange policy.

So, for now, make sure you want it before you buy it!

    We hope you understand.

  • During the pandemic, retailers closed their changing rooms as a temporary health measure. Many retailers ultimately phased out their changing rooms altogether (especially thrift stores).

We found that operational costs go up with the introduction of changing rooms, and, loss of product (theft by ner'-do- wells) is also of concern. Both of which cause a rise in product prices to cover the costs. We don’t want that!

Finally, customer safety is of utmost concern and importance to us.

Therefore, we made the decision to leave them out for now. Feel free to toss that perfect shirt on over your clothes right there in the isle to see if it will fit. But please, please take it off and buy it...or put it back on the hanger if it is not right for you. Someone else will love it!

And, yes, we will call the authorities if we see ner’-do-wells stealing and invite them to never return to our stores. Loss prevention is real

  • When we receive inventory, and we are able to, (in other words, there are no missing components to keep us from doing so), we will plug in, turn on, etc. items to see if they work .

However, we MAKE NO GUARANTEES AS TO ANY PRODUCT’S FUNCTIONALITY, OPERABILITY, COMPLETENESS IN PARTS, PIECES, or ADD-ONS, and, WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES AS TO THEIR OPERATIONAL SAFETY ONCE PURCHASED. OPERATE ANY PURCHASED ITEM AT YOUR OWN, PERSONAL RISK.

Also, many of our thrifters intentionally buy broken items because they like to ‘tinker’ with and repair things. We have to keep the shelved stocked for those folks, too!

  • We have a site on our radar and while the deal is not yet done, we are working to launch our first location in 2026! We wanted to be proactive. Stay tuned for updates.
